Harwich and Dovercourt Cricket Club,

Located just off the coast, only a couple of miles from its town centre, this is a hotspot in the summer time for attracting crowds from all ages. Beach hut viewers to passers by, this club has a great location, this being Low Road Recreation Ground. Boasting many features such as Football Pitches, Rugby Pitches to All weather pitches for the children. This remote ground gains from the nice cool breeze from the sea, so always wear a jumper...or two.

We are associated with the E.C.C.B, E.C.C.C and N.E.C.B.C We play two sides in the Saturday Two Counties League (Div's 5 and 7) and one in the Sunday "Piri Piri" Essex league (Div 5). We also have sides in several of the Colts age groups as well as a thriving Kwik Cricket for the schools in the local area reaching out as far as Wix. All our colts compete in the N.E.Essex Youth League.

Like all clubs we are eager to sign new players to fill all of the three sides if we have anyone interested in playing at any standard please do not hesitate to contact us as we are always eager to see new faces down the clubhouse.

On a match day the bar is always open from around 13.30 ish, with the cheapest prices around so why not come down and have a drink whilst supporting your local cricket club.
